Hurrican is a prototype version of the original Turrican for the Commodore 64, utilizing the game's working title before it was changed to the final title. A demo disk was officially distributed in the January 1990 edition of the German magazine 64'er, containing only a single level while the single music track on it was a rendition of Burning Heat from Gradius II.
